The Surrey Eagles welcomed two of their JPHL teams to a Sunday afternoon showdown with the Coquitlam Express on September 28, 2025 to help honour those who have helped make the program a success. Participants included several of the academy’s academic advisors, teachers, assistant coaches, and team captains, including Griffin Carmont, the captain of the U18 team, and Brayden Bains, the U14 captain and the program’s first goal scorer. As part of the celebrations, the Surrey Eagles Hockey Academy presented a $4,000 cheque to Earl Marriott Secondary School —$1,000 for each pillar of the Surrey Eagles: Athletics, Academics, Courage, and Community.
